In my last poll I asked if you really cared…a pretty open ended question. To my surprise, most people actually do care, at least about a few things. And half of those care about most things.
Only two people chose “nope,” indcating that they don’t care at all.
It doesn’t really matter to me though, I was just wondering how you all felt.
I really don’t feel like commenting on this…
I was one of those who said they didn’t care. Partly because the question was vague. But mainly because I was asserting my slim shady attitude at the time.
BTW — do you watch Futurama? Remember “A Head in the Polls” when Fry wanted to join the Voter Apathy Party, but they wouldn’t take him b/c he was too excited about it?
When I was here yesterday, I didn’t want to comment. Today, I felt like I should.
Isn’t the fact that a person took the time to vote evidence that they at least care a little…so the two that voted “nope” are really confused and the hundreds that didn’t vote, I’m assuming there were hundreds, are the ones that really don’t care.
hundreds?
try tens of thousands!
Fry wanted to join the Voter Apathy Party, but they wouldn’t take him b/c he was too excited about it?
I didn’t see it, but I work with a Futurama nut who loved strolling down memory lane with that one.
Wasn’t it Mark Twain who said he wouldn’t belong to any club that would have him? That’s how I always felt about marriage.
I’m jealous that you can blog at work!
I had always thought that was Groucho Marx. But I’m half crazy.
