That basically means that you'd have to get the unions and government employees (the only people who usually get that kind of deal) very angry. Aura Mae--I can't imagine what my situation would be like now if I'd been able to save money for health care tax free all these years. It's been incredible for my retirement. I worked for 25 years to be able to retire with the good health insurance that I now have. What's the incentive for me to throw that away and get into some other process that may very well not serve me as well? And yet so sad. I have had an individual plan for health care since I had to get off my parents insurance. I have never worked for a company big enough to provide health insurance. I have shitty coverage, but (knock wood) am healthy and have never reached my deductible no matter how low it was. So true. And yet so sad.
