Agin’ Obama

Here’s a comprehensive argument against Barack Obama.  You don’t have to agree with it, but it’s well written and pretty thorough.  I’ll gladly post one about McCain if someone points to one.  Why wouldn’t I?  I’ve already posted one about myself.

Meh, full of the same crap we’re hearing. This is politics. Ultimately you have to ask: “by what rubric do you measure a man?” Followed by “what faith do you have in this person’s ability to affect the future?”

Yes, I believe in “hope” and “change.” That’s precisely what this country was founded upon. Also, as I pointed out on the other link you provided, I’m all for giving the other guy a chance to drive. That’s as close to a revolution as we’ll get in my lifetime, seeing as how we’re not allowed to shoot the fast guns any more, and besides: the government has all the video games that actually make things go boom. So much for the ideal of “limited government.” Count your blessings they are occupied elsewhere.

I honestly don’t think anyone is prepared to be president. If they were, they wouldn’t age so horribly while in office.

Oh, and I’ve never discussed my very brief voting record with anyone, ever, but lest people think I blindly vote with a “party” (I’m loathe to recognize political parties, as I agree with Washington and I pretty much think politics of the last 50 years proves his point on them)…

In my very brief voting life I’ve voted for:
Perot, Clinton, Bush — twice.

“I honestly don’t think anyone is prepared to be president. If they were, they wouldn’t age so horribly while in office.”

I love it.
