I kinda missed Veteran's Day this year because I was on I75, but I did some thinking about it as I always do. I spent 3 years in the Army and could've been in a shooting war but for dumb luck. The guys that did get into the shooting and behaved so well deserve unending praise and gratitude. Good story and good sentiment to thank the vets.
