People do things without regard for logic. It's only later they go back and try to find some logic to wrap around their reason for simply following the crowd/hype in their initial decision-making, without actually investigating and thinking it through for themselves. Small wonder that the post-decision logic doesn't flow either. It is the only explanation for the fact that every four years we keep ending up with a republican or democrat running this country!
