I’m sad this show is ending, but I’m glad we can finally cancel HBO after the series finale.

The Wire is one of the few HBO series that we missed. I should have invested my time in that instead of “John from Cincinnati.”
Actually HM, you’re really lucky. You get to watch them all on DVD. Any dedicated fan of this show can tell you about the torture of waiting a week, or longer between seasons, to see the next episode.
The only advantage of watching them as they air is that you get 6 days to think about each episode, and you’ll definitely do that.
We’re buying the DVDs and watching the whole series again from the beginning. I’ve said it before…The Wire is probably the only television I’ll ever make my kids watch.
